November 2008 Prayer Diary.

  1. Help us fill our minds with things that are good, praiseworthy, noble, true, right, pure, lovely, honourable. (Phil 4:8)
  2. Pray for those preaching God’s Word in Tywyn today and those in Morfa Cadfan at their monthly Communion service.
  3. BMS World Mission, Ecuador. Pray for Pete and Vicki Butcher and their children who are working in Guayaquil, and for the Action Team there.
  4. Thank God for the gift of prayer, for our freedom to enter His presence because of what Christ has accomplished.
  5. Samaritan’s Purse – “Love in a box”. Pray for the transportation of the shoeboxes and for those who will distribute them.
  6. Commit to God those who are in hospital, that they will know God’s strength and healing.
  7. Ask for God’s continued guidance for those responsible for the finance of TBC and for the Tithing Team.
  8. Pray for those preparing for the preaching of the Word in Tywyn tomorrow. Pray that God’s truth will be spoken and received.
  9. Remembrance Sunday. Pray for those who suffer bereavement and carry pain in their bodies and minds as a result of war.
  10. Ask God to encourage and comfort carers. Pray that they will receive good practical support.
  11. Give thanks for those who run Tots and Toddlers. Pray for all the children and adults who attend.
  12. BMS World Mission. Continue in your prayers for Kevin and Gill, that they will know God’s wisdom and guidance in their situation in South Africa.
  13. Thank God for the young people and children in TBC. Pray also for the CU in the Secondary School. Ask for wisdom for the leaders.
  14. Commit to God every Christian within Parliament and the Assembly in whatever capacity they serve.
  15. Ask God to touch your heart as you consider what your response might be to poverty in all its guises.
  16. International Day of Prayer for Persecuted Christians. Pray that God will give them comfort & help and remind them of their heavenly hope and reward.
  17. Pray for those who are seriously depressed. Pray that God will reach out and  rescue them.
  18. Open Doors, Egypt. Pray for the safety of Muslim–background Christian believers.
  19. Ask God to be Lord of our lives, at home, at school or where he places us in our community.
  20. Keep praying for the persecuted church. “Always keep on praying for all the saints.” Eph 6:18.
  21. Pray for Gideons International as they live the Word, and exercise prayer, faith and compassion in witnessing and proclaiming Jesus.
  22. Thank God for the way He faithfully provides for our needs day by day.
  23. Pray for those attending church today, that they will hear and receive what God has for them.
  24. Thank God for those who speak up on behalf of those who are poor and marginalised—for their courage and willingness to do so.
  25. Remember those who live alone, those who are frail and those who have no family support.
  26. Ask for God’s guidance and wisdom for all on the Leadership Team of TBC.
  27. Pray today for an opportunity to share the love of Jesus with someone.
  28. Pray that we might live each moment conscious of God’s presence, and show the respect that is due to Him.
  29. Thank God for the commitment, courage and skill of Police Officers and others in the emergency services. Pray for their safety.
  30. Advent Sunday. Pray that this Advent season many will experience life changes through an encounter with the living Christ.
  1. World Aids Day. Pray for the many millions living with HIV/AIDS. Pray that they will find help and support from Christian organisations.
