August Prayer Diary

- Pray for the community where you live that you will be ‘salt and light’.
- Pray for all who attend church today in Tywyn and area, that they will hear and receive all that God has for them.
- Ask God to give parents patience and wisdom during the summer school holidays.
- Let us pray for God’s guidance as we respond to his call to serve him in our community.”
- Prayer for the work of Street Pastors, C.A.P and the local Barmouth Food Bank.
- Bring before God the church in Albania, pray for the BMS partners as they lead local churches and reach out to communities.
- Pray for all those who are suffering and grieving after the recent tragic circumstances on Tywyn beach and for safety for holidaymakers.
- Bring before God the things on your mind and ask him to be with all that is on your heart.
- As we come together to worship, pray that God’s name will be honoured and Jesus worshipped in Holy Spirit’s power.
- Pray for anyone you know who has faced bereavement. Illness or injury recently – may they know God’s peace.
- Ask for the Holy Spirit’s guidance for the TBC leadership.
- Zimbabwe. Although there are no longer BMS mission personnel there much of the work started continues led by nationals. Praise God and pray the work continues successfully.
- Pray for all those attending Soul Survivor this year that God will bless them, keep them safe and healthy and have a really good time with one another.
- Pray for those involved with ‘Race the Train’ tomorrow, the competitors and helpers. Pray for a safe day for everyone.
- Remember our local Town Council, the Gwynedd County Council and the Welsh Assembly.
- Bring before God today’s services, that those preaching and leading will know God’s anointing.
- Read a Psalm from your bible and pray a prayer using words from it.
- Pray for all those in our church family who go out to work. Ask that they would be a clear witness to those they work for and with.
- Remember all the seafarers who cross the oceans of the world and their families at home. Ask God to bless the work of the Mission to Seamen.
- We pray for those who are suffering long term ill health, that they may feel the strength and comfort of the love of God.
- Give thanks for answered prayer
- Pray for the pre-school and junior church at TBC that the children and leaders will have a good time together.
- As we meet together today let us praise God with a thankful heart for all he has given us.
- Bring to God worldwide problems that you have seen on the news or read of in newspapers.
- Remember the local services, Police, Fire, Ambulance, Air Ambulance, Health Centre and Hospitals. Thank God for them.
- Continue to pray for Christian brothers and sisters who are forced to worship in secret and often in isolation.
- Ask God to bless Tywyn as large numbers of people visit the area this bank holiday weekend.
- Pray for those who find themselves in difficult relationships – pray for their protection.
- Thank God for ‘ADVENT’ as they are a witness on our high street, and their work with the Food Bank.
- This is the day that the LORD has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.
- Ask God to be especially near to those who will be experiencing change as they return to school, college or university.
