Sunday morning services

We meet together every Sunday morning at 10.30am throughout the year. No two weeks are ever exactly the same, but our normal format is for all ages to stay together as one group to worship God until around 11am. At this time children and youth head off to various groups and anyone older than 17 (or anyone younger who wants to) stays in the main room to listen to a Christian message. Our Sunday morning messages are often part of a series and aim to encourage and equip us and strengthen our faith. Listen to past Sunday morning messages.

We are pleased to offer groups for a whole range of ages, run by volunteers from within the church body who have received child protection training and the appropriate checks. We welcome children of visiting families – just ask someone with a lanyard which group your child can attend.

Crèche (0 – 18 months)

You and your little one are welcome to join us the church foyer during the message. We can provide baby chairs and toys to entertain your baby. We play the message through speakers in the foyer so that can listen in if you want to. Please feel at home to feed your baby whichever way is normal for you – we are a breastfeeding friendly church!

Pre-school church (18 months to 4 years)

Our pre-school church team create a very stimulating, fun environment for pre-schoolers to play with toys, listen to Bible stories, play games and create works of art on the week’s theme. We also provide a snack and a drink.

Building the foundations (age 5 to 8 years)

The building the foundations team use Scripture Union materials that delve into Bible stories in a fun, engaging and interesting way for this age group. There is lots of interactive learning based on Bible stories and themes as well as plenty of games, art and crafts.

Building on the foundations (ages 9 to 12 years)

This group goes a little deeper to explore more about living as a young Christian. The group receives Bible teaching and uses fun activities and games to help the children think about how they can apply this to their lives.

Going on with God (age 13 plus)

Leaders of this group are experienced in working with young people and facilitate a relaxed, fun time with discussion and activities to learn more about living as a Christian. There are also plenty of biscuits!
